| To obtain a burning permit please call or stop by the Fire Hall. A detailed list of items being burned and days you will be burning is required at the time of issuance. Only Officers of LMR Fire Department may issue permits. LMR Fire Department reserves the right to conduct an inspection prior to any burning to verify compliance with state and local laws. We also ask you read the information below to help avoid any confusion. |
| You may burn without a permit as long as you use an approved container such as a burn barrel with a steel grate covering the top with no more than 3/4 inch openings. |
