Field and woods fires can be very dangerous. In dry conditions the fire can rapidly spread out of one persons control. Adding weather into the mix the fire can spread at a very rapid pace consuming fields, wooded area's, as well as building's and home's.

    Most of these type fires are caused by accident in our area, some are caused by unattended burn piles and some are caused by burning on dry high wind days. If you ever have a question on whether you should burn or not please contact the Fire Department.
